A GREAT IDEA!

If you arrived here following a link to "tournamentstatus.com", welcome!

I'll be re-directing the DNS entry just as soon as we have the site built and ready!

We're hoping to set up a site where ANYONE can register their tournament - softball, baseball, hockey, whatever... and the person that posts it can update its status for all to see.

Sounds simple, right?

We're also going to RSS enable it so you can subscribe to the tournaments you're interested in to get updates, and hopefully text-message enable it so that updates can be sent to your mobile device as well!

Rain delays - rescheduling - informational bulletins.. We want to make this the site where EVERYONE comes to list their tournament and where everyone can get updates when they change - on, off, delayed, whatever....

Anyway - check back for updates!

See you on the field!

And spring is here....

Okay - rain is just frustrating....

Between two of my girls trying to play softball and my boy trying to play baseball - there's a whole lot of nuthin going on right now!

Okay - Timothy did manage to play baseball Tuesday night in the mud.... It was cold and messy. We're wondering if they'll play tonight... - it'll be colder and wetter....

Softball is questionable for the weekend... Elizabeth has a tournament scheduled in Collinsville and Shannon has a tournament scheduled in Del City.

As much rain as we've taken, unless they work the HECK out of the Collinsville fields, I'm pretty sure they're toast.

Del City's fields were hard as a rock last time we were on them (last fall), so they should just be able to squeegie them and they'll be fine.... (Ha, ha!)

Of course, we're really hoping they've worked them hard since last fall... I remember at the end of day one of the fall tournament they were trying to drag the field and the tines of the field drag weren't penetrating at all...

And this thing must have been a hundred plus pounds - all steel with 3-4 inch tines...

Oh well - here's hoping!

See you all on the fields!
